Syracuse basketball welcomes Notre Dame to the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday evening, as the Orange hopes to halt a four-game losing streak and calm down a frustrated fan base.

The 'Cuse got blown out by N.C. State earlier this week in Raleigh, N.C., as the Wolfpack destroyed the Orange on the glass in the second half to come away with a 20-point triumph. Calls by Syracuse basketball fans for a head coaching change are only growing louder, and an embarrassing performance by the team at home on Saturday could be the nail in the coffin for third-year boss Adrian Autry.

Numerous Syracuse football targets will be at the Dome on Saturday for one of the Orange's junior days. It would prove nice if Syracuse basketball could notch a win for many reasons, one of which being so that SU football recruits don't hear a chorus of boos all game long.

The Fighting Irish (11-10 overall,ย 2-6 in ACC) and the 'Cuse (12-9 overall,ย 3-5 in ACC) are scheduled to tip off at 6:00 pm EST on Saturday, Jan. 31, with television coverage on The CW Network. On Saturday, SU Athletics and Syracuse basketball will honor the life and legacy of former Orange star Lawrence Moten, the program's all-time leading scorer who sadly passed away last fall at the way-too-young age of 53.
