Two members of the Syracuse basketball 2025 class have been named All-Americans.

On Tuesday, per an Instagram post, four-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony and four-star forward Sadiq White Jr. were among those selected for the upcoming Iverson Classic All-America game, which will take place on Saturday, May 3, beginning at 7:00 pm from the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va.

First and foremost, a huge congrats from Orange Nation to Kiyan and Sadiq on this wonderful honor!

Both the 6-foot-5 Anthony and the 6-foot-8 White are top-30 national prospects in the 2025 cycle, and they're also both rated in the top 10 at their respective positions within the high school senior class.

Syracuse basketball 2025 4-star commits are All-Americans.

Anthony, who hails from New York City, is a senior at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y. He missed some games earlier in the 2024-25 campaign, but amid his return, the Crusaders are hitting on all cylinders at just the right time.

White, from Charlotte, N.C., is a senior at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. In ESPN's latest national top 25 in high school hoops, IMG is No. 5 overall, while Long Island Lutheran has moved up to No. 6.

Both of these top-flight programs are part of the 14-team Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Scholastic ("EYBL Scholastic"), which is arguably the premier high school hoops conference.

As I noted in another recent column, Anthony and White will soon battle in EYBL Scholastic play. On Saturday, Feb. 15, IMG will travel to Long Island Lutheran in an event called the Bob McKillop Invitational.

In early April, the eight-team Chipotle Nationals will transpire in Fishers, Ind. Based on experts I've talked to, IMG and Long Island Lutheran are significant contenders to earn invites to this season-ending tournament that will crown a national champion in high school basketball.

When On3 updated its 2025 rankings earlier this week, Anthony was No. 30 nationally, No. 11 at shooting guard and No. 1 in New York. White, meanwhile, arrived at No. 38 around the country, No. 10 at power forward and No. 8 in Florida.

Currently, the Orange's four-member 2025 class is No. 11 nationwide, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. A year ago, by the way, Donnie Freeman was selected to the Iverson Classic All-America game.

Freeman, a freshman power forward with Syracuse basketball who has missed a bunch of games lately due to an injury, was a consensus five-star, top-15 national prospect rated as high as No. 6 overall in the 2024 cycle.
