Sherman Douglas wasn’t drafted until the second round of the 1989 NBA Draft. Going 28th overall to the Miami Heat, Douglas would be named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 1990.

Douglas spent 13 years in the NBA and played for the Heat, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Jersey Nets.

In the 1994-95 season, he led the Celtics to a playoff berth while averaging 14.7 points and 6.9 assists per game.
