John Mackey being able to fall to No. 9 on this list speaks to just how talented former Syracuse players have been in the NFL.

Mackey played 10 seasons for the (then) Baltimore Colts and San Diego Chargers. The former Orangeman had 331 receptions for 5,236 yards and 38 touchdowns through the air.

He was entered into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1992 for his place in the immortal spotlight.
