Syracuse Football: On3 NIL Valuations of top-5 'Cuse players, led by QB Kyle McCord
By Neil Adler
Quarterback Kyle McCord, the four-star transfer from Ohio State who will spend his senior season with Syracuse football, currently has the highest On3 NIL Valuation among Orange players.
This should come as no surprise. McCord, who was a five-star prep recruit from New Jersey, put forth a solid 2023 term for the Buckeyes and was rated as one of the top quarterbacks in the transfer portal this off-season.
I'll list below the other Syracuse football players in the top five on the team as it pertains to their On3 NIL Valuations, but first, a little context. Per the On3 Web site, this valuation "sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV) by combining Roster Value and NIL (name, image and likeness)."
Leaders of On3, a fast-growing national media outlet and recruiting service, say their On3 NIL Valuation is a proprietary algorithm that "establishes the overall NIL market and projected 12-month growth rate for an Athlete by measuring two categories: Roster Value and NIL."
This valuation can ebb and flow from week to week, and the data I'm including here was as of Thursday evening when I wrote this article.
