Syracuse basketball may get another visit from 4-star PG Keyshuan Tillery, experts say
By Neil Adler
Discussions continue regarding 2025 four-star point guard and top-50 national prospect Keyshuan Tillery taking another visit to Syracuse basketball, two sources told me on Thursday evening.
Nothing has been finalized at this time, and a visit by the 6-foot-1 Tillery to the Orange in the coming months still may or may not happen, I've been told.
Tillery, an Albany, N.Y., native, is a fast-rising prospect in the 2025 cycle. He's climbed inside the top 50 of his class, per ESPN, while the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking places him at No. 74 around the country.
In late August of last year, Tillery took an unofficial visit to the 'Cuse to play in the Orange's annual Elite Camp. It was around that time that the Syracuse basketball staff offered him a scholarship.
Syracuse basketball could get a second visit from 2025 four-star point guard Keyshuan Tillery.
Over the spring and summer, Tillery was deemed a top performer on the AAU circuit by national analysts and scouts while starring for the 17U team of the Albany-based City Rocks in Nike's EYBL league.
Amid the most recent AAU season, dating back to late May, Tillery has seen his recruitment blow up, adding a bunch of new offers, including a recent one from Kansas. His current offer sheet totals 27, per 247Sports.
One of Tillery's City Rocks teammates this spring and summer was 2026 four-star wing Imahri Wooten, who holds a 'Cuse offer, unofficially visited the program last October, and is a significant candidate to take an official visit to Syracuse basketball at some point in the future, I've been told.
During the most recent EYBL circuit, per media reports, the Orange staff was on hand for Tillery and Wooten when college coaches could be in attendance to watch high school recruits.
According to several reports, Tillery has scheduled five official visits between late August and early October. They are to Virginia, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Ohio State and Villanova.
Previously, Tillery has officially visited both Florida and Northwestern. He is heading into his senior year at the New Hampton School in New Hampton, N.H.
On Thursday, top national analyst/scout Jamie Shaw of On3 had a piece on Tillery's recruitment. While that article is a subscriber-exclusive story, I spoke with Shaw directly.
Shaw said to me that Tillery is "still figuring out" whether he will take official visits to Kansas and Syracuse basketball.
On Thursday, I heard from a second source who has spoken to Tillery about his upcoming official-visit plans. This source said that while nothing is concrete, Tillery is still talking about another possible visit to the Orange.
Stay tuned.
As it pertains to 2025 guards whom the 'Cuse staff is pursuing, keep an eye on four-star combo guard Acaden Lewis from Washington, D.C., four-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony from New York City, four-star combo guard Derek Dixon from D.C, and four-star combo guard Tyler Jackson from Baltimore.
Lewis, who has Syracuse basketball in his top eight, took an unofficial visit to the Orange on August 1. Analysts say he's likely to officially visit the 'Cuse at some point as well.
Anthony, who has the Orange in his top six, took an official visit to the 'Cuse last October and may visit the program again, per reports.
Dixon, who went on an official visit to Syracuse basketball in late September of last year, recently put the Orange in his top six.
Jackson, to the best of my knowledge, hasn't announced a list cut yet. He took an official visit to the 'Cuse in late January of this year.
