Syracuse Basketball: How to watch Judah Mintz play for 76ers in NBA's summer league
By Neil Adler
Former Syracuse basketball point guard Judah Mintz has been named to the Philadelphia 76ers' roster for the upcoming NBA summer league, according to a press release from the pro team.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Mintz, who hails from Fort Washington, Md., wasn't selected in either of the two rounds during the recently held 2024 NBA Draft, after competing at the NBA G League Elite Camp in Chicago this past May.
Per the press statement, it looks like the 76ers have 16 players on their roster, and these guys will suit up from July 8 to July 10 in the Salt Lake City summer league followed by the main 2024 summer league, held in Las Vegas from July 12 to July 22. One player is only competing in the Salt Lake City summer league.
First and foremost, a congrats from Orange Nation to Judah for making the Philadelphia 76ers' summer-league roster.
Mintz, as a sophomore in the 2023-24 campaign for the 'Cuse, was named to the All-ACC second team after averaging 18.8 points, 4.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest. He was No. 2 in the ACC in points per game this past term.

By the way, serving as the head coach of the 76ers during both summer-league dockets is Matt Brase, who is an assistant coach for Philadelphia under head coach Nick Nurse.
Besides Mintz, there are at least two players on the 76ers' roster this summer that Orange fans may recognize. They are wings Jordan Tucker and Justin Edwards. Both are former recruiting targets of the 'Cuse. Tucker was a four-star prospect in the 2017 class, while Edwards was a five-star, top-five overall player in the 2023 cycle.
Tucker, in college, played for Duke and then at Butler. He has been playing for Chorale Roanne Basket, a professional team based in Roanne, France. In 2023-24, Edwards played his freshman year at Kentucky.
