Syracuse basketball head coach Adrian Autry checked out numerous 2025 and 2026 four-star recruits on Saturday as the annual Peach Jam tournament on Nike's EYBL circuit got into full swing amid an NCAA live period.

As the EYBL and other shoe-sponsored AAU circuits are holding their season-ending playoffs around the country, there are evaluation periods where college coaches can watch prospects in person, running from July 11 to July 14, and then again from July 19 to July 21.

At Peach Jam on Saturday, I already noted that Autry was on hand in the 17U division to watch 2025 priority target Acaden Lewis, a fast-rising four-star guard who plays for the Oxon Hill, Md.-based Team Durant.

Lewis, who recently disclosed a top eight that includes the 'Cuse, had a strong game on Saturday with Autry in attendance. But the Syracuse basketball head coach, on Saturday, also watched several other DMV players in the 16U division, per separate posts on X from 247Sports national analyst/scout Brandon Jenkins.

At Peach Jam, Adrian Autry watched several 2026 four-star targets from the Washington, D.C., area.

According to Jenkins, in the 16U division, Autry was in the house for a game between the Hampton, Va.-based Boo Williams versus the D.C.-based Team Takeover. In a thrilling affair, Team Takeover squeaked by Boo Williams, 70-69, per a box score on the EYBL Web site.

Three standouts for Team Takeover are 2026 four-star point guard and top-125 national prospect Anthony Brown; 2026 four-star guard and top-75 overall player Prince-Alexander Moody; and 2026 four-star guard and top-20 national prospect Qayden Samuels.

Brown and Moody were offered scholarships by the Orange around the time that they competed in the team's annual Elite Camp in late August of last year. When the 2026 contact period opened on June 15, allowing college coaches to initiate direct communication with rising high school juniors, Brown, Moody and Samuels all heard from the 'Cuse staff.

In the victory over Boo Williams, Brown had seven points, three rebounds and five assists. Moody tallied 10 points, one rebound, one assist and one block. Samuels produced a game-high 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field, to go along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Also on Saturday, per Jenkins, Autry checked out a contest in the 16U division between the Memphis, Tenn.-based Team Thad and the Baltimore-based Team Melo. In this affair, Team Melo prevailed, 63-52.

One of the stars of Team Melo is 2026 four-star combo guard and top-100 national prospect Parker Robinson, who also played in the Orange's Elite Camp last August and has heard from the Syracuse basketball staff since the contact period for his cycle opened in mid-June.

In his squad's triumph over Team Thad, Robinson was excellent, going 8-of-14 from the field and finishing with a game-high 18 points, along with two boards, two assists, one block and three steals.
