Four-star shooting guard and top-30 national prospect Kiyan Anthony is eyeing a college decision sometime next month, and he may take a trip to Syracuse basketball before his commitment announcement.

That's according to a report from top insiders Adam Zagoria and Sam Lance on zagsblog.com. They write in their piece that Anthony "plans to visit Auburn and Syracuse officially before he makes his decision."

On Tuesday, the 6-foot-5 Anthony revealed via social media a final three of the 'Cuse, Big Ten Conference member Southern California and Auburn out of the Southeastern Conference.

The talented 2025 prospect previously had a top six that also included Ohio State, Rutgers and Florida State, but those three suitors have been dropped from contention.

Syracuse basketball may get another visit from 2025 four-star Kiyan Anthony.

Anthony, the son of Orange legend, long-time NBA star and future Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, is a senior at the powerhouse Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y.

Per various recent reports, Kiyan Anthony has said he's looking to make his college decision sometime in November, before his 2024-25 term commences at Long Island Lutheran.

Regarding his three finalists, Anthony recently took an official visit to Southern Cal. He has yet to visit Auburn, as far as I can tell. In late October of last year, Anthony officially visited Syracuse basketball, and the Orange staff offered him a scholarship in November of 2022.

Beginning on July 1, 2023, high school prospects could start taking an unlimited number of official visits to collegiate campuses, although they would then be limited to one official visit per school, or two if a particular college team had a head-coaching change.

However, in men's basketball, high school players could still take a second official visit to the same school, provided that second trip occurs in a different academic year.

As such, Anthony would be permitted to take another official visit to Syracuse basketball this fall. I'll keep an eye out for if and when he schedules a date to visit Central New York again.

Early last month, as the fall recruiting period commenced in September, Anthony conducted an in-home visit with the Syracuse basketball staff. Orange coaches have also watched him on many occasions on the AAU circuit while Anthony starred for the Baltimore-based Team Melo in Nike's EYBL league.

Both Auburn and USC are formidable threats to the 'Cuse in Anthony's recruitment. That being said, if he doesn't visit the Tigers before he makes his college decision known, I believe that Anthony's recruiting process will boil down to Syracuse basketball and Southern Cal.

After Anthony disclosed his final three, I talked to a few analysts and recruiting experts about him. These insiders maintain that Anthony remains open to all three schools, with one adding that he is hearing that Anthony hasn't told any of his finalists yes or no at this juncture.

For what it's worth, there are three predictions in the Orange's direction for Anthony between the On3 Web site and Rivals.com, however, those projections transpired in the late spring.
