5 worst head coaching hires in Syracuse football history
By Sam Fariss
Another coach who had a short stay in Syracuse, Reaves Baysinger lost nearly 78 percent of his games with the team.
Sitting between Clarence Munn and Ben Schwartzwalder on Cuse’s list of head coaches, he failed to live up to his predecessor and successor who were both heading to the College Football Hall of Fame.
With an average of just two wins per year, Baysinger’s stay in Syracuse wasn’t a long one and was a sure disappointment. To this day, he has the third-worst overall record as a head coach of the Orange.
