On Monday night, the full schedule for Syracuse football in the 2025 season came out, and it's a doozy.
Orange head coach Fran Brown, his top-flight staff and their roster will have their hands full in 2025, with a lot of intriguing games on the docket and a brutal slate, at least on paper.
In 2024, in Brown's first term at the helm the program, the 'Cuse went 10-3 overall, won its bowl game, defeated three ranked foes and finished No. 20 around the country in the final Associated Press top-25 poll.

For Syracuse football to repeat its performance from the last campaign in the upcoming 2025 stanza, the Orange will have to endure facing multiple College Football Playoff participants as well as a road calendar that looks quite imposing.
ACC Network's Eric Mac Lain says that Syracuse football plays the toughest schedule in the country, that 6 wins would be a good performance given the difficulty and the number of tough games that will take place on the road.

To me, if the 'Cuse could compile a 7-5 or an 8-4 regular-season record in 2025, that would prove quite solid. While it's not 10 victories, let's remember that the 2025 schedule, on paper, looks more difficult, and the Orange won't have record-setting quarterback Kyle McCord or several other key standouts on its roster for the upcoming term.
