Tuesday's affair is a quadrant-one opportunity for the Orange. While the 'Cuse is slumping, and the fan base is frustrated, if Syracuse basketball players can block out the noise, hunker down on defense, take care of the ball and get easy buckets out in transition, SU can beat the Wolfpack.
Granted, N.C. State is a balanced group, residing inside the top 40 of KenPom in both adjusted offensive and adjusted defensive efficiency. That being said, the Wolfpack doesn't have a ton of overly impressive triumphs thus far in the 2025-26 season, it has six total losses and three setbacks at home.
In the Orange's injury report submitted to the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday night, two players were listed as out. They are freshman wing Aaron Womack, who is expected to redshirt this term, and sophomore guard Noah Lobdell.
