Syracuse football's 2026 season opener on Saturday afternoon at home against first-time foe New Hampshire marks the start of Fran Brown's third campaign as the Orange's head coach. He's got a revamped roster and a lot of new assistant coaches.
As the 'Cuse will try to rebound from a disappointing 3-9 overall record in 2025 by, at first, getting off to a fast start against New Hampshire, the 'Cuse staff will have a handful of recruiting targets in the 2028 and 2029 classes on the Hill to watch Syracuse football host the Wildcats, an FCS program that competes in the Coastal Athletic Association ("CAA").
Inside the Loud House has reported in other recent articles that throughout the 2026 campaign, during contests at the JMA Wireless Dome, both verbal commits and recruiting targets across several different classes (2027, 2028 and 2029; we'll have to see about the 2030 cycle) will make trips to Central New York for game-day visits.
