Q'mari Hudson, whose first Division I scholarship offer was from Syracuse football, has locked in an upcoming official visit to the Orange program.
Per his X page, the 2027 four-star offensive tackle from Virginia will officially visit Syracuse football from June 12 to June 14. Numerous Orange 2027 recruiting targets have locked in official visits to 'Cuse between late May and late June.
Others who have official visits to Syracuse football on the books include four-star running back Xavier Bala from New York, three-star tight end Michael Nnabuife from Maryland, four-star wide receiver Javien Robinson from Pennsylvania, four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor from Pennsylvania and three-star athlete DJ Davis from Delaware.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Hudson, who says on his X page that he plays both offensive tackle and defensive tackle, picked up a scholarship offer from Syracuse football coaches on February 12, 2025.

He is a junior at Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Va. In the 2025 season, Western Branch went 6-5 overall and fell in the regional quarterfinals of the Virginia High School League ("VHSL") Class 6 state playoffs.
Syracuse football will host elite offensive tackle Q'mari Hudson on an official visit.
Per 247Sports, Hudson also has official visits set to both Virginia Tech and Tennessee. His full scholarship offer sheet includes the 'Cuse, the Hokies, the Volunteers, Penn State, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Maryland, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Appalachian State, East Carolina, Marshall, Liberty, James Madison and Old Dominion.
He is one of the top offensive tackles around the country in the 2027 class. Rivals places Hudson at No. 194 overall, No. 18 at offensive tackle and No. 4 in Virginia. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite has him at No. 269 nationally, No. 29 at offensive tackle and No. 4 in Virginia.
To date, Orange head coach Fran Brown and his staff have secured at least eight verbal pledges among high school juniors. The 247Sports Composite has the team's 2027 cycle at No. 6 overall for the time being.
Three of Syracuse football's 2027 verbal commits play along the offensive line in high school. They are three-star Edwin Guzman from Pennsylvania, three-star Connor Long from New Jersey and three-star Marcus Small from Florida.
