Julian Corry is a talented two-sport athlete from New Jersey. In football, the 6-foot-8, 205-pound Corry plays defensive end, tight end and wide receiver. He landed a scholarship offer from Syracuse football this past May, he said via his X page.

At this juncture in his recruitment, Corry has the Orange on top, and he will take a game-day visit to the 'Cuse on Saturday, Sept. 5, when Syracuse football hosts New Hampshire in SU's 2026 season opener, Inside the Loud House has learned.

To date, the Orange is Corry's sole scholarship offer, although he is receiving interest from Penn State.

He attends Burlington City High School in Burlington, N.J. Corry previously competed for Palmyra High School in Palmyra, N.J. The Garden State is a heavy recruiting emphasis for the 'Cuse coaching staff.

Syracuse football will get a game-day visit from 2028 athlete Julian Corry in early September.

On the hardwood, Corry is receiving interest from Liberty. He has not yet been in contact with the new Syracuse basketball staff, but he hopes to soon.

In grassroots hoops, Corry, a wing/small forward, plays for the Camden, N.J.-based Free All Minds Academy, which is part of the MADE Hoops Challenger Circuit. This past April, at the MADE Hoops East Mania in Manheim, Pa., Corry averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 blocks per game.

Tashawn Tokley, a coach with the Free All Minds Academy, said in a post on X in late July that Corry was named to the MADE Hoops All-Challenger Circuit first team.

Corry has terrific size as both a football and a basketball prospect. I'll be curious to see if the Orange hoops staff makes contact with him.

Currently, there is a two-sport athlete on the Hill in Calvin Russell III from the Sunshine State, who is a five-star wide receiver and a wing in basketball. He enrolled at SU this past January and joined Syracuse hoops for part of the 2025-26 season.

Russell is rehabbing after rupturing his Achilles tendon in late March amid spring practices, and Syracuse football head coach Fran Brown recently said that he expects the 6-foot-5, 195-pound Russell to play at some point in the 2026 season.

Last week, Brown also said that Russell wants to continue competing for Syracuse basketball, which has a new head coach in SU alum Gerry McNamara.

As for Corry, he's high on Syracuse football, so let's see how his game-day visit goes next month.
