Syracuse Football: Latest bowl projections after victory over Wake Forest

Syracuse football is going to a bowl game for the second year in a row, after the Orange squeaked out a 35-31 win over Wake Forest this past Saturday on the Hill in the 2023 regular-season finale.

Following the recent dismissal of head coach Dino Babers, tight ends coach Nunzio Campanile served as the ‘Cuse interim head coach over the weekend, guiding the Orange to a four-point victory against the Demon Deacons in an entertaining Atlantic Coast Conference clash.

That result lifted Syracuse football into bowl eligibility for the second straight term. The ‘Cuse (6-6, 2-6 in the ACC) last made it to bowl games during consecutive seasons in 2012 and 2013.

This year’s bowl match-ups will get announced on Sunday, Dec. 3, the day after most conference championship games are played.
