Syracuse Football: Massive amount of commits, recruits for Clemson game
By Neil Adler
According to a report from top recruiting analyst Mike McAllister, Syracuse football will have more than 30 high-school prospects in attendance from various classes when the Orange hosts fellow Atlantic Coast Conference team Clemson on Saturday afternoon at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Per McAllister, the publisher of SyracuseOnSI, both Syracuse football 2024 commits and recruiting targets from multiple cycles are expected to check out the ‘Cuse as the team looks to move to 5-0 when it plays the Tigers. For the full list, please click here for Mike’s story.
The Orange verbal pledges who will be at the Clemson game are from the senior class, as the ‘Cuse doesn’t have any verbal commitments yet in the 2025 cycle or beyond.
The recruiting targets who will be in attendance, some of whom hold scholarship offers from the Orange and some who don’t as of yet, come from the 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes.
The Dome needs to be packed and crazy loud with Syracuse football recruits and commits on hand.
At present, the Orange has 18 verbal commitments in the team’s 2024 class, and per McAllister, nine of those pledges are expected to watch Syracuse football battle Clemson.
Those 2024 commits are:
Three-star linebacker Jayden Brown of the Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, N.J.
Three-star running back Trashon Dye of the Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne, N.J.
Three-star linebacker Travon Dye of the Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne, N.J.
Three-star edge Tristen Graham of Middletown High School in Middletown, Del.
Three-star wide receiver Ta’Ron Haile of Millville Senior High School in Millville, N.J.
Three-star running back Jaden Hart of Michigan City High School in Michigan City, Ind.
Three-star athlete/defensive back Clinton Robinson of Keystone Oaks High School in Pittsburgh
Three-star offensive lineman Noah Rosahac of Jim Thorpe Area High School in Jim Thorpe, Pa.
Three-star linebacker Zekai Wimberly of West Orange High School in West Orange, N.J.
Some of the Syracuse football recruiting targets who will be at the game on Saturday are coming from the west coast, which I think is cool. They include 2025 three-star linebacker Carter Jones and 2025 three-star defensive lineman Tyler Parker, both of whom attend Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, Calif.
Jones holds an offer from the Orange. At this time, Parker has interest from the ‘Cuse. When I penned this column, each of them was ranked in the top 650 across the country in this class, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
