Sadiq White from North Carolina, a new Syracuse basketball recruiting target in the sophomore cycle, recently moved into the top 10 across the country in his class.
MADE Hoops recently updated its 2025 national rankings, and it placed the 6-foot-8 small forward/power forward at No. 10 overall, climbing six spots.
The majority of primary recruiting services have White as a four-star, top-50 national prospect in the sophomore class, as well as a top-10 small forward/power forward.
In late April, White said on Twitter that he had received a scholarship offer from the Orange coaching staff. He attends Myers Park High School in Charlotte, N.C., and he runs on the AAU circuit with the Charlotte-based Team United in Nike’s EYBL league.
Syracuse basketball recently entered the recruiting mix for 2025 four-star forward Sadiq White.
According to recruiting services, White holds at least 15 offers from a range of high-major programs. Besides the ‘Cuse, one of his other more recent offers arrived from Cincinnati. White’s offer sheet also includes Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Alabama, among others.
Come mid-June, college coaches will be able to initiate direct communication with 2025 prospects, so I’d imagine that White will continue to see his offer list expand.
Per MaxPreps, as a sophomore for Myers Park in the 2022-23 campaign, White averaged 11.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per contest. National analysts and scouts praised White for his play in late April during two NCAA live periods on the AAU circuit.
While MADE Hoops presently has White at No. 10 nationwide, he also checks in at No. 20 overall, No. 3 at small forward and No. 1 in North Carolina within the sophomore cycle, according to 247Sports.
To date, Syracuse basketball coaches have offered scholarships to numerous prospects in the 2025 class. Some of the Orange’s more recent offers have gone out to White, five-star shooting guard Darryn Peterson, five-star point guard Tyler Jackson and four-star wing Cam Ward.
Other ‘Cuse targets in the sophomore cycle include four-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony, four-star point guard Jerry Easter II, five-star combo guard Darius Adams and four-star wing Efeosa Oliogu.
