Syracuse football lands commitment from talented 2024 offensive lineman

Noah Rosahac, a 2024 offensive lineman from Jim Thorpe, Pa., has committed to play collegiate football in Central New York, as he announced on Twitter that he will be playing for Syracuse football.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Rosahac, who is a junior at Jim Thorpe Area High School, received his first Power 5 scholarship offer from the Orange on February 16, according to his Twitter page.

Throughout his recruiting process as a member of the 2024 class, Rosahac has picked up more than 10 offers. His offer sheet, besides the Orange, included Virginia Tech, Columbia, Dartmouth, James Madison, Lafayette, Lehigh, UMass, Penn, Temple, Coastal Carolina and Villanova.

Under Rosahac’s bio on Rivals.com, teams that reportedly showed interest in him included a few big-time programs, such as Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia.

Syracuse football has scored a commitment from 2024 offensive lineman Noah Rosahac.

PA Football News listed Rosahac as part of the Pennsylvania Football Writers’ Class 3A All-State Team in 2022 as a defensive tackle. This past season at defensive tackle in 11 games played, Rosahac had 64 solo tackles and 19 assisted tackles, which gave him 83 total tackles, and he averaged seven-and-a-half tackles per game, according to the MaxPreps Web site.

So far in his career at Jim Thorpe, Noah has accumulated 170 total tackles and 52 tackles for losses while starting his sophomore and junior years so far in high school. Adding on to his already impressive stats last season, he had eight sacks along with 12 QB hurries. He was also responsible for 45 yards lost.

So far in his career, Rosahac has been responsible for 51 yards lost and 19 QB hurries. As an offensive tackle, he also had eight pancake blocks in 2022. According to On3.com, Noah made unofficial visits to Penn State, Temple, James Madison, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Pitt before committing to Syracuse football.

Noah has also played basketball for Jim Thorpe Area High School. During the 2022-23 basketball season, he averaged 9.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 56% from the field.
