Syracuse Game Saturday: Syracuse vs. Duke Line, Predictions, Odds, TV Channel & Live Stream for Basketball Game Feb. 26
By Neil Adler
Syracuse basketball saw its two-game winning streak snapped at Notre Dame earlier this week, and now the Orange is set to host the Atlantic Coast Conference’s best team, Duke, on Saturday night.
Recently, the ‘Cuse (15-13, 9-8) had defeated both Boston College and Georgia Tech at home. However, this past Wednesday evening, the Orange hung tough with the Fighting Irish, but the ‘Cuse was crushed on the boards and ultimately fell by 10 points.
The No. 7 Blue Devils (24-4, 14-3), a group that has won five in a row, are the only ACC team currently ranked in the top-25 polls. Duke also sits in first place within the league standings.
As the 2021-22 regular season winds down, the Orange is enduring a brutal stretch where it will have played four ACC clashes in a span of a week. Following its battle with the Blue Devils, the ‘Cuse will have a quick turnaround before heading to Chapel Hill, N.C., for a showdown with North Carolina on Monday, Feb. 28.

Syracuse vs. Duke on Saturday
About a month ago, the ‘Cuse traveled to Durham, N.C., for an affair with the Blue Devils inside the frenetic Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Orange’s starting guards really struggled shooting the ball, and Duke dominated the ‘Cuse in virtually every single statistical category.
The result was a lopsided 79-59 setback for the Orange. I’m hopeful that the ‘Cuse will have a better showing on Saturday night from the Carrier Dome. Lately, the Orange has fared well on its own turf, and I expect a boisterous crowd on the Hill for this juicy match-up between dear friends Jim Boeheim, the ‘Cuse head coach, and Duke’s legendary boss, Mike Krzyzewski, who is retiring at the culmination of the 2021-22 stanza.
As the premier squad in the ACC, it’s no surprise that the Blue Devils own many statistical advantages against the Orange in the present term, but I say throw that data out of the window. The ‘Cuse will be ready to roll versus Duke.
Since joining the ACC from the Big East Conference in 2013-14, these two teams have engaged in some really exciting contests, with the Orange even prevailing on a couple of occasions. However, I don’t envision that occurring this time around, as I foresee the Blue Devils marching on to a double-digit triumph against the ‘Cuse.
