In no way, shape or form do I think that the Orange is anywhere near the conversation for the Big Dance this spring, however, it will prove important for the ‘Cuse to hold serve in Central New York over the team’s next three league meetings to at least gain some confidence and momentum moving forward.

When the ‘Cuse lost to Wake Forest, 77-74, over the weekend, the Orange after a hot start early on really struggled shooting the ball from the field for much of the game.

A term ago, Pitt swept the ‘Cuse in the regular season, which was really irritating. I think that the Orange, seeking some revenge and also looking to change the trajectory of its 2021-22 campaign, will take care of the Panthers on the Hill this time around.
