Our football guru rocks out in previewing Syracuse football hosting Pittsburgh in the 2021 regular-season finale.

A Syracuse football fanatic, he grew up in a Central New York town

Had to graduate from a high school in PA named Plum

But he grew up still loving the Cuse and grew up right

Despite those Pitt Panthers fans on those Orange/Panthers game nights

Well the ACC schedule closes out on November 27

Pitt versus SU might blow away the boys be more than they’ve seen

Both teams vying for postseason success hopefully groovin

Maybe Charlotte, maybe Indiana or maybe a bowl game to keep movin’ on

Last dance of regular-season action

One time to kill the pain with distraction

I feel winter creepin’ in and it’s almost time to shovel again

Well I don’t know what you’ve been told

But my positive expectations never grew old

I’m tired of the hate. I’m tired of all the doubt

I’m ready for the wins, I’m ready to end this drought

Oh my my…oh heck yes…hoping our Orange are headed to postseason success

Buy me a Dew, sing the alumni song

It’s Senior Night so let’s #BeatPitt and cheer the seniors along

Last chance for Josh Black

And all those seniors who came back

End of the season is sinkin in, and we’re all proud of them

Sadly no more Eli singing on Marshall Street

Playing guitar and makes us dance to the beat

But can still head to Varsity after the Orange win

Not the same without Eli but still a fun football tradition

Oh my my…oh my friend

We will miss you when the season starts again

You brought us joy and were a shining light

Thank you for hitting those chords on those Syracuse nights

Last chance to win a game

Win it for Eli and ease our pain

I feel bowl games creepin in and I’m ready for the thrill again

Rest In Peace, Elijah “Eli” Harris. May God guide you to find the joy in your afterlife that you brought us on game day in this life. Your passing at only 62 was unnecessary and you deserved better…we as a community deserved more time with you especially on our game-day walks to the Dome.

We lost you too soon, but you’ll always be a part of Orange Nation and our game-day traditions. It won’t be the same this year without you and your music.

Let’s Go Orange!

Next. Syracuse football should schedule these 3 Big Ten and Pac-12 teams. dark
