Syracuse basketball has reportedly reached out to the high school of 2023 big man Aaron Bradshaw, and hopefully he gets an Orange offer soon.
Syracuse basketball has contacted the high school of 2023 big man Aaron Bradshaw, an intriguing prospect in this recruiting cycle, according to a tweet from Tre Jackson of Knowledge Hoops.
The 7-foot Bradshaw, a power forward/center, is a sophomore at Roselle Catholic High School in Roselle, N.J. The Orange has nice connections to this program.
Former Syracuse basketball players Tyler Roberson and Malachi Richardson, members of the ‘Cuse 2016 Final Four squad, also attended Roselle Catholic High School, although Richardson went to Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, N.J., for part of his high-school career, too.
Wake Forest and Syracuse have contacted Aaron Bradshaw’s school recently.

At this juncture, according to Bradshaw’s Twitter page and a review of various recruiting services, he holds scholarship offers from Nebraska, TCU and Texas A&M. I’m hopeful that Syracuse basketball will offer him soon, though, because from what I’ve read about him from recruiting analysts, Bradshaw is a star in the making.
Jackson said in his tweet that fellow Atlantic Coast Conference member Wake Forest has also inquired about the promising big man, who is rated as a three-star player and No. 44 overall in the 2023 class by 247Sports. That recruiting service also puts him as the No. 6 center and the No. 5 prospect in the state of New Jersey.
Prep Hoops is even more bullish on Bradshaw, placing him at No. 19 nationally in this cycle.

Recruiting analysts are high on Bradshaw’s potential at the collegiate level. In addition to playing for Roselle Catholic High School, on the AAU circuit, Bradshaw suits up for New Jersey Scholars Elite, a team based in Millburn, N.J.
"In this 247Sports piece, national recruiting analyst Dushawn London said of Bradshaw, in part, that he “excels around the rim and his game is starting to expand by adding in the three ball and improving his handle on the perimeter. … His put back dunks can swing the momentum of a game giving energy to him and the rest of his team. Bradshaw is also an elite shot blocker and if it’s not blocking shots it’s altering them around the rim.”"
Patrick O’Brien, in an article for phenomhoopreport.com that got published in mid-May, noted that Bradshaw “wants to show the hard work that he is looking to put into his game, improving in areas such as his ball-handling skills, guarding smaller players along the perimeter, adding more to his post-game, and having a more consistent jumper.”
