Mike Waters of Syracuse.com recently held a trivia contest pitting Syracuse basketball star Buddy Boeheim against his brother Jimmy.

Now’s the chance you’ve always been waiting for! You can put your Syracuse basketball knowledge to the test against Orange sharpshooter, Buddy Boeheim.

Mike Waters of Syracuse.com recently held a trivia contest, all about the beloved Syracuse Orange basketball team, in which Buddy went against his older brother, Cornell star, Jimmy. The rules were simple: alternating questions worth one point for each correct answer and zero for a wrong answer. However, if neither could get their question correct on the first try, they have the option to steal a point. If they get that one wrong, they lose a point of there own. First to ten points wins.

Questions were asked on a wide array of subjects, from asking who hit the game winning shot against Duke in 2017, to the correct spelling of Coach Jim Boeheim’s longtime friend and coaching rival, Mike (you try in for yourself) of Duke basketball.

As a heads up, Buddy and Jimmy answer some questions very quickly, so if you want to keep score for yourself, make sure to pause the video below after Waters reads each question. I was able to reach 10 points by question 16, which isn’t too bad if I do say so myself. I won’t spoil who takes the crown – you’ll have to find that out for yourself:

One has to wonder how they didn’t pounce on some of those early questions. Maybe we’ll have to have a talk with Coach Boeheim himself to see if he taught his sons these Orange trivia facts. Or maybe they chose the typical route to ignore their father, not knowing when it might come in handy.

All jokes aside, both Buddy and Jimmy answered questions I wouldn’t have known the answer to, so props to them for knowing a good chunk of their Syracuse basketball history. Let’s hope we can have some additions to the all-time record book after next season.
