Syracuse basketball faces Louisville in the third round of the ACC Tournament. Here are our full predictions and a preview of the top x-factors.

Syracuse basketball did the unthinkable late on Wednesday night as they annihilated one of the hottest teams in all of college basketball in North Carolina. After initially losing to this team a week and change ago, the Orange blasted UNC 81 to 53 in the team’s most dominant win of the season.

After ending the season on a sour note, this Syracuse team is feeling energized and motivated to prove all the doubters wrong that thought their season was over.

With the victory, Syracuse ascends to the next round of the ACC Tournament. That means the Orange will square off against a very fresh Louisville squad. The Cardinals enjoyed a double-bye in the conference tourney and will tip-off with Syracuse around 9:00 p.m.

Here are our full crystal ball predictions for this contest and a preview of the top x-factors to watch out for. With a win, Syracuse will get the winner of No. 2 Virginia and No. 7 Notre Dame on Friday evening. Although with a loss the Orange’s chances at an NCAA Tournament bid will die in Greensboro.
