Syracuse basketball will face off against North Carolina in the second round of the ACC Tournament. Here is our full predictions for the game.

Syracuse basketball enjoyed a first-round bye thanks to their clinching of the sixth seed in the ACC Tournament. As expected the Orange will be facing North Carolina in the second round of the conference tourney.

The Tar Heels blew the doors off of Virginia Tech 78-56 in the opening round continuing their red hot play of late. While North Carolina on the surface had a very disappointing season at 14-18 overall and 6-14 in ACC play, they’ve really picked it up recently.

UNC has won four out of its last five games including a 92-79 smattering of the Orange in the loud house. The combination of Cole Anthony and Garrison Brooks has been nearly impossible to stop and that’ll be the task for Syracuse if they have any hopes of beating North Carolina in the ACC Tournament.

The Orange and the Tar Heels are scheduled to tip-off at 9:00 p.m. in the Greensboro Coliseum. The winner of that matchup will continue on to the third round of the ACC Tournament vs the Louisville Cardinals. That game will also tip-off at 9:00 p.m.

Although before we get there, we have our full crystal ball predictions for this Syracuse vs North Carolina matchup in the conference tourney. Plus we break down all the top x-factors to keep an eye out for in this matchup.
