Syracuse basketball will get another rematch this week when they play Pittsburgh. Here is our full predictions and preview of the top x-factors.

Syracuse basketball completed the series sweep over Georgia Tech on Saturday and they’ll be hoping to accomplish the same feat vs Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.

Back on Saturday, January 25 the Panthers traveled north to play the Orange in the loud house. Syracuse dominated in the first half and carried that momentum to a 69-61 victory. That was the team’s fifth win in a row and it seemed like the Orange were on the verge of something.

Unfortunately, that was the last bright moment of this season as Syracuse would end up losing five of their next seven and dropping squarely out of the NCAA Tournament race. Things haven’t gone great for Pitt either, they’ve lost five out of its last six games and four in a row.

Here are our full crystal ball predictions for this rematch and a preview of the top x-factors for this contest.
