Syracuse basketball is searching for a resume-building win vs Louisville. Here are our full crystal ball predictions and a preview of the top x-factors.

Syracuse basketball just needs a win, after losing four out of its last five games, but they also need a quality win. Wednesday night vs Louisville is the team’s last opportunity in the regular season to accomplish that goal.

It won’t be easy because the Cardinals are one of the top teams in the ACC and quite frankly one of the best teams in all of college basketball. With that reputation, unsurprisingly Louisville is a prohibitive favorite vs the Orange.

Vegas has the Cardinals as a nine-point favorite and the ESPN BPI Analytics gives Louisville the 85.4 percent edge.

Although Louisville is slumping right now, losers of two in a row to the cellar dwellers of the conference in Georgia Tech and Clemson. They’re vulnerable and we’ll see if Syracuse can take advantage on the road at the KFC Yum! Center.
