Former Syracuse basketball star Eric Devendorf will return to TBT, Boeheim’s Army in 2020. Here are all the details and what it all means.

TBT (The Basketball Tournament) announced on Twitter that the fearless leader of Boeheim’s Army Eric Devendorf will return to the squad in 2020.

Devo spent four years with the Syracuse basketball program from 2005 through 2009. During that span, Eric went from being an unknown basketball stud to becoming an Orange legend.

He’s continued that legacy for Boeheim’s Army in The Basketball Tournament.

Here’s his official statement on rejoining the squad in 2020 from TBT:

"“Excited for the TBT to come back to ‘Cuse! I always love playing in front of the home fans and love being able to bring that excitement to the city in the Summer! The support the fans give is unmatched! Looking forward to getting after it with my brothers again in front of our orange family!”"

"When we reached out to the general manager of Boeheim’s Army, Kevin Belbey, for comment on the news, he said: “no official announcements on players yet, but he fully expects Devendorf to be back with the squad in 2020.”"

In an official statement from TBT, Syracuse will once again host a regional at the SRC Arena and Events Center. This year’s Syracuse regional will run from July 31 through August 2 and tickets are already available for purchase (click here).

That is obviously something that Eric Devendorf is quite familiar with considering his long history with Jim Boeheim and the Syracuse basketball program.
