After a couple of heartbreaking losses in the Carrier Dome, the Syracuse Orange will be in Charlottesville to take on the Virginia Cavaliers.

Earlier in the year, Syracuse scored a pedestrian 34 points against UVA in the first game of the season, and to be quite honest, I expect the same kind of game today. A low scoring, ugly, defensive battle.

This game reminds me a lot of when Syracuse went into Cameron Indoor last year and upset Duke when nobody was expecting it. Virginia did not look good at all in their last matchup against Boston College, and maybe their struggles will continue over to this game.

However, I’m sure Tony Bennett and his staff will have their players ready to bounce back against Syracuse.

Would it shock me if Syracuse won this game? Not really. Syracuse scores the ball better than Virginia, but that’s about it.

For me, this is one of the easiest picks in a while. Syracuse will fall again to Virginia as time begins to run out on their season, and March Madness will fall pretty much out of reach.

FINAL SCORE
UVA 63 Syracuse 50
