Syracuse Football: Top 5 players Orange should chase via transfer portal

Syracuse is losing some key pieces to their secondary from 2019 to 2020:

That list features NFL talent, playmakers, and Orange greats. It makes sense that Syracuse would dip their proverbial toe into the transfer portal waters to try and find some solutions.

Dino Babers has some connections on the west coast and should use those to bring in Kahlef Hailassie. The former Oregon Duck defensive back announced his decision to enter the transfer portal via his Twitter account.

The two-way three-star athlete played wide receiver and defensive back in high school. Hailassie only played in three games this season for the Ducks which means he maintains his full four years of collegiate eligibility which makes him a super attractive pickup via the transfer portal.

If that wasn’t attractive enough, Kahlef also has some scheme versatility he played some safety in the spring due to injuries.
