Syracuse basketball will face off against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Tuesday night in the dome. Here are the top x-factors and storylines to watch out for.

Syracuse basketball will look to get off the schneid vs the Iowa Hawkeyes on Tuesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Orange have lost two straight and are in the midst of the worst start to a season since 1996-97 (4-3).

Things won’t get easier with a red hot Iowa team that has won four out of its last five games and has some real players that could cause some damage.

Despite that, Syracuse is getting a lot of respect at home. ESPN BPI Analytics have the Orange as a 59.6 percent favorite and vegas shares that sentiment with a 4.5 point spread on the game.

The ACC/Big Ten Challenge has been in operation since 1999, Syracuse has been a part of the ACC since the 2013 season. During those six years, the team has gone 3-3 in this series including a win over the No. 1 net ranking Ohio State Buckeyes last season.

So how will this year’s game go between Syracuse and Iowa? Here are answers to that question + who will be the top x-factors and top storylines to watch out for in this matchup!
