After a disappointing season, Syracuse football will wrap up their season in a game with not too much meaning. I feel for the seniors on this team because, after all the expectations, they won’t even make a bowl game.

If you were to ask me three months ago about the importance of this final game of the 2019 season, I would have thought it could be for the Orange Bowl. Clearly that is not the case. Hopefully, Syracuse can try to use this game as a stepping stone into the 2020 season.

As for the game with Wake Forrest specifically, I think Syracuse has a chance to put up some points. The Demons Deacons were very impressive through the first half of the season, but this is not the same team. I think for one game, Syracuse might look like the team we all thought they could be in August.

Final Score
Syracuse 38 Wake Forrest 27
