Syracuse’s offense has been hitting on all cylinders the last two weeks, and it will be tested tonight when the Orange take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

The Cowboys have a balanced attack, led by senior guard Lindy Waters III. The next few games for the Orange will be against Power 5 schools and although none of them are currently ranked, these games will have a lot of implications when Selection Sunday rolls around.

Wins over Power 5 schools could be the difference in whether they make March Madness, especially if Syracuse struggles in the ACC this season.

As for the game, I like Syracuse’s chances to pull out a win.

The main reason is that I don’t believe Oklahoma State can have success against this 2-3 zone because it’s so unique and difficult to prepare for.

Also, I expect the Orange to have at least some sort of a home-court advantage (PLEASE SHOW UP ORANGE NATION) in the Barclays Center tonight. Elijah Hughes should try to be the leader tonight in the Orange’s first game outside of the Carrier Dome this season.

Once Hughes can get it going, then the rest of the team will have the confidence to put on a show in the Big Apple tonight!

Final Score
Syracuse 70 OK State 66
