Syracuse Basketball: Bucknell Bison crystal ball predictions
Syracuse basketball squares off with the Bucknell Bison on Saturday. Here’s how it’ll play out: top x-factors, storylines, and names to watch out for.
Syracuse basketball has one more game to play at home before they hit the road for the NIT Season Tipoff at the Barclays Center.
Bucknell Bison are 2-3 this season (1-2 on the road) and are in the midst of a two-game losing streak heading into this one.
For those reasons (and that fact that Syracuse is far more talented), the Bison are HUGE underdogs on the road. ESPN BPI Analytics suggests Bucknell has only a 16.7 percent chance at securing the upset bid.
The Bison don’t appear to have any lone superstar and instead boast five double-digit scorers who can each find the bottom of the basket. It’ll be imperative for the 2-3 zone to remain disciplined vs a squad that possesses seven upperclassmen.
How will this one play out? Who will come out on top? What are the top storylines to watch out for? Who will step up to the plate? We answer all of those questions and some in our full crystal ball predictions ahead of this contest in the loud house on Saturday.
