Syracuse football has a huge test vs Louisville on Saturday. Here’s an inside look at what challenges they’ll present and how the Orange will try to win.

Syracuse football fans are feeling good for the first time in over a month. On one hand, the team has lost four out of its last five games which is terrible. While on the other side of the coin, Syracuse at 4-6 still has a chance with two games remaining at a bowl berth, albeit a small chance.

Although their next opponent has already reached bowl eligibility. The Louisville Cardinals are 6-4 with two games to go and they’re looking to pad the resume ahead of bowl season. Last year this program was in shambles with Bobby Petrino and now they have new signs of life under former Appalachian State head coach Scott Satterfield.

Syracuse is a huge underdog on the road according to all the metrics:

  • Per ESPN FPI Analytics: the Orange have a 33.1 percent chance at victory.
  • While the latest vegas line has the Cardinals as a nine-point favorite at home.
