Syracuse basketball opens up the season vs the Virginia Cavaliers on Wednesday evening. Here are our full crystal ball predictions ahead of this ACC tilt.

Syracuse basketball isn’t playing around, to start the 2019-20 campaign they’ll square off against the defending National Champion Virginia Cavaliers.

This Virginia team did the impossible. they won their first-ever championship after becoming the first No. 1 seeded hoops team in history to lose to a 16 seed. What a roller coaster of emotions.

Although there’s good news for the Orange, they won’t be facing off against the National Champions of 2018-19. Wait what?

Virginia lost its top three scorers from a year ago, but they still have the man behind the magic: Tony Bennett.

That respect is shown with the No. 11 ranking and the analytics project Virginia to come away with the victory vs the Orange: 63.6 percent.

How will the Orange start their season? What kind of rotation will Jim Boeheim use? Who will step up to the plate? We answer all of those questions and some in our crystal ball predictions for the Syracuse vs Virginia matchup on Wednesday evening in the loud house.
