After another rough performance in Tallahassee vs Florida State, the Syracuse Orange will get another crack at their first conference win vs Boston College at home on Saturday afternoon. Yes, this has been a lost season for Syracuse, but Dino Babers can still use these remaining games to figure out what players he can trust and build around in 2020.

Any winning organization will continue to take the necessary steps in order to make sure that the team is continuing to get better, even if it isn’t for 2019. As for this game against Boston College, I think the Orange have a real chance at winning this game. The only reason I would worry about this game as a Syracuse fan is because of Eagles running back, AJ Dillion.

Dillion is one of the college athletes that I feel like has been in college for 10 years now. He has been an absolute monster ever since he stepped foot on Boston College’s campus. The Orange struggled with Cam Akers last week, and now they play a running back that might be even better!

Somehow Syracuse is a 3 point favorite in this game according to Vegas, so maybe the wise guys no something that we don’t. All I know is that Syracuse hasn’t been covering the spread in most of their games, so eventually they are going to at least cover a spread in one of these games.

As for my prediction, I’m going to take Boston College because I know that AJ Dillion is going to have a good game, and I can’t say that about anyone on Syracuse with confidence. It wouldn’t surprise me if Syracuse won, but I just can’t pick them after what I have seen.

FINAL SCORE

Boston College 32 Syracuse 28
