Who will win in a pivotal ACC clash between Syracuse football and the Pittsburgh Panthers? Here are our FULL crystal ball predictions ahead of this matchup.

The Syracuse football squad is in a very familiar position at 3-3 through the first half of the season. While certainly familiar, a tad surprising considering the extremely high expectations heading into the 2019 season.

As Dino Babers said earlier this week, “we aren’t where we’d like to be at 3-3, the rose-colored glasses are off, so now what are we going to do about it?”

Well, they’ll play a game against a bitter rival that has had their number (winners of 12 out of the last 14 matchups) in the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Pitt is a very sneaky good team. They’re 4-2 on the season and own a juicy upset bid over UCF from earlier this season. The Panthers are well rested after enjoying a bye week and are ready to travel to the dome for a Friday night primetime tilt.

Vegas and the analytics are on opposite sides of each other for this game. On one side the bettors say Pitt is a 3.5 point favorite on the road vs the Orange. While the ESPN FPI Analytics suggest the Orange are a slight favorite (51.1 percent). So who is going to win this game?

Here are our FULL crystal ball predictions for this contest featuring the top x-factors, who needs to step up, and what will decide this game on Friday night.
