Syracuse Football takes on the NC State Wolfpack in their sixth game of the season Thursday night on the road. Here’s how you can watch & listen to the game.
Syracuse football struggled out of the gate winning just one of their first three games. However, since then the Orange have bounced back and have gone 2-0 in their last two games. Now, after a bye week, the Orange will hit the road once again as they travel to play ACC conference opponent NC State in Raleigh Thursday night.
The Wolfpack like the Orange has not been who they were last year and have stumbled as well to a 3-2 record, same as the Orange. The Wolfpack can claim losses to West Virginia and Florida State, while the Orange have losses to No.1 Clemson and Maryland. In other words, to pick which team is better at this stage would be like comparing apples to oranges (slight pun intended).
Syracuse football fans are hoping the bye week allowed this team to refocus as they hit the second half of the season and the ACC conference slate. As we all know, these next few games will decide how the season will go and they know it.
Will the Orange bounce back from a slow start to make a bowl game once again in back-to-back seasons, or will they squander all this talent for another losing record? On Thursday night we will find out just what team this is: a contender or a pretender.

Though neither of those stats is favorable for Syracuse, it just goes to show how close these two teams are in talent and how it really is a toss-up on the road.
