Here’s an inside look on where some of the previous Syracuse football head coaches are today and what they’ve been up to.

Syracuse football seems to have found their head coach of the future in Dino Babers. But before him, Syracuse has had a few coaches at the helm of their program. Let’s take a look back at the previous four head coaches for the Orange football team and where they are now.

Syracuse’s last four coaches span from 1991-2015 before Babers took over. The first coach during this span was Paul Pasqualoni and the most recent coach was Scott Shafer.

Syracuse over this almost three-decade period of time had varying levels of success. This can also be said about their coaches.

After leaving Syracuse, some of these coaches moved up to the next level and advanced their coaching careers. Others stayed in the college ranks, while one coach virtually stopped coaching altogether.

Over this coaching span, Syracuse possessed a 52 percent winning percentage. These coaches made differing lasting impacts on the future of the program. Some left the program with a plan in place while others didn’t have that opportunity.

So let’s take a deep dive looking at each of their coaching impacts, resumes, and what they’re doing now.
