Syracuse Football takes on the Western Michigan Broncos in their fourth game of the season Saturday afternoon. Here’s how you can catch the big game.

Syracuse football is coming off yet another embarrassing loss, this time to No. 1 ranked Clemson 41-6 in front of a hometown crowd of over 50,000 people (a sellout). However, the Orange have a chance to quickly turn it around this week as they take on Western Michigan in the Dome.

Coming into the season, this looked like an easy win for the Orange. However, with the offensive line issues, Tommy DeVito’s struggles from behind center, and the defense not being able to keep the opposing teams off the board, the script has flipped.

Western Michigan is 2-1 on the year, while Syracuse comes in 1-2 with losses to Clemson and at Maryland and its lone win at Liberty. The Broncos are now considered to have the better chance on winning on the road at Syracuse, according to ESPN.com’s matchup predictor. It gives the Broncos a 55.8% chance of winning this one, even though they still favor the Orange to win by 4.5 points, according to ESPN.com.

This Syracuse football team will need to get the run game going in this one as they have a good tandem in Moe Neal and Abdul Adams. With those two playing well it would certainly give the passing game a break as well. However, on the year the running game is only producing 92.3 yards per game; which is not the kind of production you need to be successful.

DeVito, on the other hand, is starting to look more comfortable. He is finally finding his receivers and getting the flow of the offense. The one problem he is still having, however, is he doesn’t have enough time to make his reads and then throw because his offensive line has been folding like an accordion.

Hopefully, this is the week the O-line finally gets in in gear so DeVito can go in to next weeks game, again at home against Holy Cross and dominate before they start their not so easy ACC conference slate.

The good news is the Orange has played Western Michigan once in its long storied history and it was last year, in a 55-42 win for the Orange, according to Sports-reference.com.

So at least the Orange have recent game tape on a team who they played just last year whose roster hasn’t changed much. That’s got to count for something, even if Eric Dungey was at the helm.

So when is the game and where can I watch it?

Well, the game starts Saturday, September 21st at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) ET and will be featured on ACC Network, according to ESPN.com.
