Syracuse Football: Week 4 Western Michigan crystal ball predictions
Josh Peelman, Contributor (2-1)
Prediction: Syracuse 45-24 over Western Michigan.
Syracuse football had had a rough start to this season. Now playing at home in front of their fans in a game many expect them to win (and needs to win). The Orange will bounce back and do so in a way that will ease fans fears.
Tommy DeVito and the offensive line are finally starting to get on the same page. DeVito knows the line can’t hold at all, and he’s aware of that, and as we witnessed versus Clemson last week he had found a way to duck and slide to avoid the pressure which has helped him.
I’d rather him have more time to throw rather than taking a sack every play. Sure, he still took a ton of sacks (eight to be exact) but he’s getting smarter with the football and where he throws it. I’m sure in this game we’ll probably see vintage DeVito lighting up the scoreboard again with accurate throws and deep balls in front of the hometown crowd.
I see the Orange winning by over two scores despite how good the Broncos have been the last few weeks. This is Our House and is time College football remembers that again!
