3. The Tigers lost several key productive pieces on the defensive line to the NFL Draft, Clemson always seems to have guys ready, who are those players that are stepping out of the shadows? How have they looked so far this season?

"So far, so good. You can tell there’s inexperience along the defensive line, but there’s plenty of talent. One of the true guys who has stepped out of the shadows is freshman DT Tyler Davis. Davis, a 4-star, earned a starting position to open the season- which is rare for any freshman under Dabo Swinney. He has played really well in the interior of that defensive line. Xavier Thomas is easily the best pass-rusher on this team. Thomas has a quick twitch and is explosive. In addition to those guys, Nyles Pinckney and Jordan Williams have looked good at defensive tackle, while Logan Rudolph, Justin Foster, and KJ Henry have done an excellent job at defensive end. The talent and depth is there, but the experience will take some time. They’ll definitely be challenged this weekend against Syracuse and it’ll be interesting to see how that unit responds as a whole."
