Syracuse Football takes on the Maryland Terrapins in their second game of the season Saturday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch and listen to the game.

Syracuse football came in with high expectations this season and a No. 22 overall ranking in the country when they played at Liberty in the season opener last week. The defense played relatively excellent, while the offense struggled mightily in quarterback Tommy DeVito’s first career start.

The Orange will need to turn the page fast as they go on the road once again Saturday and play at Maryland; a team who beat their opponent Howard 79-0 last week, according to ESPN.com.

The Terrapins may not be ranked, but their impressive performance and the Orange’s lack thereof has resulted in a lot of experts and Vegas switching their picks this week and naming Maryland the favorite over Syracuse.

The Orange started the week as three-point favorites, according to Syracuse.com, whereas by Thursday evening the Terps were favored as two-point favorites by ESPN.com.

The good news is the Orange had a whole week to iron out the kinks from last week with no midweek (Thursday or Friday) game, thus they should be ready to go come Saturday. If DeVito starts playing like he did last year against North Carolina or Florida State, the Orange should win this game, especially with a defense as good as it is. However, if they come out and lay another goose egg, then it could spell trouble going forward for this year’s team.

Also on the line for Syracuse is a possible (first) visit from ESPN’s College Gameday for the Clemson game next week on September 14. If the Orange win at Maryland and go on to be 2-0 with two road wins and a No. 20 or higher ranking in the AP/Coaches Poll, it’d be pretty hard for ESPN’s College Gameday to pass up a matchup versus the No. 2 Tigers. However, the Orange have to win first, so first things first.

So when is the game and where can I watch it?
