Syracuse football continues its 2019 quest vs Maryland in Week 2. Here we share all of our crystal ball and bold predictions for this matchup.

The Syracuse football squad faces Maryland in Week 2 of the 2019 season. The Orange opened up the season with a 24-0 thumping of the Liberty Flames. If you just looked at the box score, you were probably satisfied with the efforts. Syracuse won the game and covered the spread (for entertainment purposes only of course).

While on the other side of the turn, the Terps dominated its Week 1 opponent Howard 79-0. For both Maryland and Syracuse the level of competition has to be considered, but things become real in Week 2 between two power-five opponents with some history.

Vegas opened this one up with the Orange as a -4 point favorite, but now the line has flipped all the way to the other side to Maryland now being a -2 point favorite in this one.

Is this a trap game for the Orange ahead of Clemson in Week 3? Will Tommy DeVito improve in Week 2? How good is Maryland? All of those questions, bold predictions, and crystal ball predictions for this Syracuse vs Maryland game is here for you as it is every week.
