4. What kind of leaps and bounds is Clemson expecting from Trevor Lawrence with a full offseason of training?

“Trevor Lawrence has quickly ascended as one of the premier quarterbacks in College Football. He has an extremely strong arm and is elite in his decision making.

During the offseason, I think the coaching staff wants to see him develop in his ability to extend plays. There were a lot of times last season that Lawrence just threw the ball away instead of taking yards with his legs or getting out of the pocket and looking downfield for a receiving option. The coaches want to see him improve in that aspect of his game this season.

I certainly think Lawrence has the talent and ability to win the Heisman this season, especially with the group of wide receivers he has returning, but it will start with him being able to extend plays and continuing to get better as a passer.”
