2.  Is Syracuse Clemson’s biggest game of the year and do the Tigers view SU as their biggest rival in the ACC?

“Absolutely. Right now, it seems that the ACC is Clemson and then everybody else. But, if you were talking about the one team making the greatest strides, I think it has to be Syracuse. Dino Babers’ program has consistently challenged Clemson and it seems that they are on the right foot to continue to take steps forward, even with a few key losses.

Florida State is still years off from being a competitor again, in my opinion, and NC State is also in rebuilding mode. If you’re talking about the ACC, specifically the ACC Atlantic, it has to be Clemson and Syracuse.

The Orange will have Clemson’s full attention when the two teams play later this September, there’s no doubt about that, and I think we’ll see a cleaner execution of the game plan than what we saw from Clemson last season.”
