Fourth Pick, “Team Ryan”: Sherman Douglas

Statistically, my team is extremely impressive, not only do we have the greatest scorer and rebounder in team history with Moten and Coleman, now we bring in the leading assists man in as well.

Douglas led Syracuse to the 1987 National Championship game as a sophomore and his first year in the starting role. Douglas isn’t afraid of the putting the ball in the basket either scoring 18.2 a game his senior year.

Also, don’t underestimate the chemistry of him and Coleman playing three seasons together. This chemistry will be seeing lobs and dunks between former teammates.

Also what a dream scenario of having Anthony being set up to go by his teammate from Douglas or Moten cutting in transition with a flashy past for the score. If Paul’s team attempts to make a run I trust Douglas to settle the team down and guarantee a good possession. –Ryan.

Fourth Pick, “Team Paul”: Louis Orr

If you’re going to offer me “The Louie and Bouie show” I’m going to take it.

With my backcourt complete, it was time to shore up my frontcourt. These are two teammates that already have incredible chemistry together after playing with one another from 1976 through 1980.

These guys were the first ever Jim Boeheim recruits and they set the tone for present and future Orange hoops. Both players finished with over 1,000 points in their respective collegiate careers. These are players that provide style and substance, so not only am I going to win, but I’m going to win in style.

Louis is one of the most intelligent players in SU history. While his collegiate stats won’t overwhelm you, he brings so much to the table. In his freshman season, he was a “sixth man of the year” type player before ascending to the starting lineup for the rest of his three years on the hill. –Paul.
