Here are the top 10 things regarding Syracuse basketball WE WISH were April Fools’ jokes but absolutely weren’t in 2018-19.

To put it lightly, the 2018-19 season for the Syracuse basketball squad was a tad crazy. That applies to things both on and off the basketball court. Some things were so crazy that if I would’ve told you them before the season you likely wouldn’t have believed it.

A lot of those things we wish didn’t really occur, but they actually did. While we certainly can’t change history, we can still document it. But before we get there here are some quick fun facts on the significance of April Fools’ Day:

  • On April 1st every year Americans celebrate April Fools’ Day!
  • It is the annual celebration of people pulling pranks on each other and performing hoaxes.
  • The true origin of Fools’ Day is unknown, but it can be traced back as early as The Canterbury Tales (1392).

In honor of April Fool’s, we decided to put together the top-10 things WE WISH were April Fools’ jokes, but weren’t this season for Syracuse. Check out our full list in the following slides then share your thoughts in the comments below and on social media!
